This picture was taken in Uitenhage outside the video land shop. Now this may seem an odd place to pose but there is some history here. Way back in the 60's when I was but a boy my family lived here. It was a lovely old Cape House back then with a porch and gardens with a Guava and Fig tree in the front and a huge grape vine at the rear. It had cellars and a mysterious trap door in one of the bedrooms which was a great source of scaryness for me and my sisters.

Uitenhage has changed a lot since I lived there,but none so much as our old house. I was flabbergasted when I first seen it.
